I have had many people ask me this question and as many of us our visual, I thought it would be great to show you!
STEPS I TAKE:
- First, to find the difference between your own lashes and the falsies, I create a wedge between the lash line and false eye lash band using my thumb and pointer(index) finger to ensure you don’t remove any of your own. If you are like me, can’t really afford to lose any!
- Second, once you have that wedge, using your thumb and pointer finer, gently start peeling from the outer corner to toward the inner. If you feel at all during the peeling process that you have to stop due any extra tugging, STOP, use that thumb to create that wedge then continue.
- Lastly, I take a makeup towelette to remove eye makeup and lash adhesive. I will sometimes take an oil based cleanser or coconut oil and rub it on my eyelashes using the towelette to wipe any excess adhesive.
- Also, it’s good practice to remove lash adhesive from the actual falsies using your fingers, NOT makeup removers! False lashes can be used up to 5-8 times so long as you care for them properly. Once you have removed the glue from the falsies, place them in their protective case and they are good to go for the next application! Voila!
